Expected Delivery Delays Due to Planned Strike Action

There may be delays in ParcelForce and Royal Mail pickup and delivery due to planned strike action on Friday 9th, Sunday 11th, Wednesday 14th, and Thursday 15th December. The Communication Workers Union (CWU) has also announced intentions to take strike action on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th December, but has not formally notified us that these strikes will go ahead on these dates. We apologize for any disruption this may cause and we will work to get our services back to normal as quickly as possible. Couriers will be increasing their capacity and using additional resources to help with this. Collections and deliveries will resume the day after the strike action ends. Please note that there may be increased volumes during the Christmas period, so we encourage you to place your orders as early as possible to ensure timely delivery. Royal Mail has informed us that 2nd Class Signed For Services may experience delays of up to 3 weeks, and other services may also be impacted as they work to clear the backlog of deliveries. Postal networks are still experiencing delays due to increased pressure on airline capacity and local measures in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19, which can affect delivery times to overseas destinations. If you have any questions, please contact us before placing your order. For the latest updates on planned industrial action, please visit the industrial relations page.
