At masseytractorparts.com, we aim to provide fast, reliable, and transparent shipping services. This Shipping Policy outlines the terms, conditions, and expectations regarding the dispatch and delivery of orders placed on our website.

  1. Shipping Locations

We ship to:

  • All of the United Kingdom

  • Republic of Ireland

  • International destinations (selected countries only)

If your location is not available at checkout, please contact us for assistance.

  1. Shipping Methods, Costs & Weight Rules

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on:

  • Actual (net) weight

  • Volumetric weight (couriers charge the greater of the two)

  • Destination

  • Selected shipping method

We work with trusted couriers including Royal Mail, Parcelforce, FedEx, DHL, and other providers depending on parcel type, weight, and size.

Courier Limitations & Adjustments
Couriers have strict limits regarding:

  • Maximum weight

  • Maximum parcel size

  • Maximum insured value

  • Hazardous materials (e.g., oils, batteries in some cases)

If your parcel exceeds the limits of the courier you selected at checkout, then:

  • We may be required to change the carrier.

  • We will always try to match the selected service at no additional cost.

  • If no equivalent or similar service exists, we will contact you to:

    • Provide updated shipping options

    • Provide a quote for any additional fees

    • Allow you to approve or cancel the order

If you choose to cancel due to courier limitations, a full refund will be issued.

  1. Free Shipping Eligibility (UK & Ireland Only)

Orders over £180 (excluding VAT) qualify for free shipping subject to the following conditions:

  • Eligibility Criteria:

    • Parcel must weigh under 20kg (Volumetrically)

    • Delivery address must be within the UK or Ireland

    • Delivery address must not be within:

      • Highlands and Islands

      • Channel Islands

      • Other courier-restricted regions

  • Exclusions:
    Free shipping does not apply to items shipped from:

    • Draper Tools

    • Sealey Tools & Equipment

    • SIP Tools & Equipment

    • Cottonmount Clothing & Footwear (Includes All Buckler Footwear)

    (These suppliers ship directly from their warehouses and do not participate in free-shipping promotions.)

  1. Order Processing Time

  • Standard processing time: 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday)

  • Orders placed after 12pm may be processed the next working day

  • Public holidays or peak seasons may extend processing times

  • If you require urgent processing, email us at info@masseytractorparts.com prior to ordering.

  1. Delivery Times

Delivery estimates are shown at checkout and vary depending on:

  • Selected courier

  • Destination

  • Weight and size

  • Customs processing (international orders)

Important: Delivery estimates are not guaranteed.
We cannot accept liability for delays caused by:

  • Weather

  • Customs

  • Courier backlogs

  • Strikes

  • Incorrect/incomplete addresses

  1. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is dispatched:

  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email

  • The email will include a tracking number

  • You may track your delivery directly on the courier website

If tracking shows the parcel as delivered but you did not receive it, you must contact the courier immediately so they can initiate an investigation.

Weight Restrictions
Free shipping applies only to items under 20kg.
Items over 20kg may require pallet services or specialist couriers.

Address Restrictions
Free shipping is not available for:

  • Highlands

  • Isle of Man

  • Channel Islands

  • Remote islands

  • International destinations

Extra charges may apply for restricted delivery zones depending on the courier.

  1. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

Lost Parcels
If your parcel has not arrived:

  • Check tracking information

  • Contact the courier first (fastest method)

  • Contact us if the courier cannot assist

We will work with you and the courier to locate or replace the parcel.

Damaged Parcels
If packaging is damaged:

  • Inspect contents before signing

  • If significantly damaged, refuse delivery so it returns to us automatically

  • If you accept the parcel and the contents are damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos

Insurance
Orders over £100 are automatically insured against loss in transit.
Insurance costs are non-refundable.

  1. Incorrect Address Provided

Please ensure your shipping information is accurate.
masseytractorparts.com is not responsible for:

  • Parcels delivered to incorrect addresses supplied by the customer

  • Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete address details

If a parcel is returned to us due to address error:

  • You may pay additional shipping charges to reship

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

  1. International Shipping & Customs Responsibilities

International shipments may incur:

  • Customs duties

  • Import taxes

  • VAT

  • Handling fees

  • Clearance charges

These charges are:

  • Set by the destination country

  • Out of our control

  • Paid by the customer

If customs fees are refused and the parcel is returned:

  • Return shipping charges

  • Customs penalties

  • Handling fees (up to 25%)
    ... will be deducted from your refund.

U.S. Customs Update – Effective 29 August 2025
The United States will eliminate duty-free de minimis exemptions for all imports under $800.
All shipments will incur duties, taxes, and fees.
These charges must be paid before delivery.

  • Oversized parcels

  • High-value insured shipments

  • Volumetric weight surcharges

  • Courier service changes

  • Hazardous material surcharges

  • Remote area surcharges

If additional fees apply:

  • You will be notified and given a quote

  • You may approve or cancel your order for a full refund

Free Shipping (Over £180 ex VAT)

  • UK & Ireland only

  • Under 20kg

  • Not valid for dropshipped items

Insured Shipping (Over £100 Order Value)

  • Automatically included

  • Protects against loss

  • Insurance fees are non-refundable

  1. Store Credit for "Special Price" Items
    If you are returning a Special Price item, please note that refunds for such items will be issued as store credit only. This includes any clearance or sale items marked with a "Special Price" label. Store credit can be used for future purchases on our website.
